Ballooning can be a family affair. Our hot air balloon flight with Wind Wranglers was one of the most awesome experiences we have ever had. Our early morning launch was from a beautiful park in Pagosa Springs and was the total ballooning experience when we were allowed to participate in the preparations for readying the balloon for launch. Once we launched the quiet, breathtaking, beauty of the San Juan Mountains and the sighting of a large herd of elk were priceless. Our pilot, Jennifer, noted points of interest and explained the history of the Pagosa Springs area to us. Before we knew it, it was time to land. We were encouraged to participate in helping to pack the balloon back up for loading onto the truck. The ultimate ending was a champagne toast and light brunch with Jennifer and Dave who drove the chase truck. This was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation in the Pagosa Springs area and we can hardly wait until we can “take flight” again. Mark & Connie Thornton

We always try and pick a wide open area for our landings.  The “chase truck” follows to help us after landing. All our flights include a light brunch after landing with a traditional champagne ceremony and a flight certificate commemorating the event.
